Staying in Livingston for the next 3 or 4 months. Had to cancel our trip to Ottawa, Canada because we just got a new puppy who is not old enough to get her Rabies vaccination which is required at the border.

Yes, we are still in Austin. Had planned on leaving the middle of June but I had a vitreous detachment happen. Had to stick around a month to have it rechecked and found out on 7-1 that it had caused a torn retina which is an unusual. On 7-2, I was in the Dr’s office undergoing eye surgery to repair it. 334 zaps from the laser gun, There are a couple followups so don’t think we’ll be leaving here until first part of August to our favorite alfalfa field in Arvada CO

July 28-Lee,s Summit, MO-just southeast of Kansas City until Aug. 1. Enjoyed our stay in St. Louis with a ride to the 600ft top of The Arch in a 5 person cubicle only 4ft high, a Cardinals baseball game (they lost), walking the cobblestone streets of historical St. Charles (and shopping, of course), stopping at Ted Drewes for a frozen custard (Carl’s favorite), The Science Museum and the beautiful Missouri Botanical Gardens, the oldest in North America. The last 2 were in 97 degree heat. Whew!

Hi everyone. Continuing our tour of Colorado, coming out of Gunnison we drove east on US 50 which climbed to 11,317 feet in a long 10 mile 6% grade to reach Monarch Pass. This is the Continental Divide and if it hadn’t been cloudy, we might have seen the 5 14 thousand foot mountains just north of us. What goes up must come down, so we did till reaching the intersection of US 285 where we turned north. Stopped in Buena Vista CO for 6 days.
See Ya. Cathe
