Friday, May 17, we moved 60 miles farther south to Beverly Hills, Florida. I guess we are now officially Beverly Hillbillies! We are near the Withlacoochee State Trail (46 miles-we’ll see how much of it we can cycle in this heat and humidity.) It was a high of 93 today. Drove through a swarm of love bugs on the way down so had to clean off the front of the RV and the truck as soon as we arrived here at Sandy Oaks RV Park. Three red dachshunds live right across the street from us! We’ll be here 2 weeks |

19 May (Sun): Longview Lake Campground near Lee’s Summit, MO, to 14 June, an extended stay as we used to live here and have many relatives, friends and professionals to visit. We are still sorting through our air system malfunction but have devised several work arounds that allow us to travel safely until we find a fix. Today we moved 147 miles in between severe weather cells so we arrived clean and dry. En route we came to the conclusion that armadillos and opossums are actually born dead beside the road. |
