08 Nov(Fri):Overnight, Walmart SuperCenter, Port Isabel, TX, after a swift 4-day 1,365-mile run from FL. Yesterday’s passage through Houston and south from there was as tense as we’ve ever seen with seemingly endless construction, steady blinding monsoon rain, blasting winds, flooded roadways, and dozens of accidents. Through it all Time Bandit and her crew persevered as we turned 249,000 miles together. When we asked our Jeep Rubicon, Rubi J, if she was okay she said, “I’m fine, I just go where I’m towed."
