18 Oct (Thu): Dunedin RV Resort, Dunedin, FL, to 28 Oct, visiting a son, daughter-in-law and grandson (age 6), and friends. The paved 38-mile Pinellas Trail runs nearby so we take advantage by doing nonstop 4-mile power walks most every day (per my cardiologist, if normal conversation is possible you’re not walking fast enough). From here we’ll roll into Tampa for a routine coach maintenance appointment at Cummins CoachCare then west on I-10 through the Hurricane Michael devastated panhandle en route to TX.

We hope you look forward to every new day & see the beauty of friends surrounding you. But, be aware of any unusual behavior & report it. We are planning/hoping to get back on the road in November, when the doctor clears me to once again travel. We still have many places on our bucket list! We also, enjoy visiting family & friends; both new and old. Blessings from our home to yours! Please remember our VETS by flying our US flag and THANKING them for their service. May God Bless you and the USA! Safe Travel

At our winter site, arrived early since we didb’t get to Colorado this year. Medina Lake is still rising after all the rain we’ve had over the past three weeks. Only down 9’ from full capacity. Got my failed CI re-implanted on October 11th. Now bilateral CI’s.

The Great MisAdventure is taking another giant turn on the highway of life. The 5th wheel is once again our home but we plan on living at Fawn Hollow and build a house on our ranch. Chickens are comfortable in the mountains. Traffic is non-existent. Cell phones do not work, call the ranch @ 719seven8three0879. The power company has yet to find our ranch but should soon be plowing in the service down our mountain. Might be pop-cycles before spring.....

A little about the caravan. We are 22 units, 42 people, from 10 states. There is one other single woman-a retired Army Col. Nurse Practitioner & I believe is the oldest in the group. 2 other nurses along. Most people are in their 70’s; I think 3 are in their 80’s, and 1 or 2 may be in their 60’s. 3 women use scooters to get around & 1 man does at times. Nearly every coach has at least 1 dog or cat, 1 has 2 cats & a dog. At least 5 coaches have cats. Several women share the driving & a couple do it all.
