Update from Sisters, Oregon. Libby and I visited the Alpaca Country Estates Ranch. No, I did not buy one! But I did go back for two days and volunteered. They have over 1000 alpacas. I got to help shear the alpacas while I was there and 2 babies were born. Of course there was also the inevitable shoveling to clean the pens. I had a fantastic time. Nancy and Art and Spike (their dog) were awesome to let me help. I am now on the Columbia River. Very windy but very beautiful. |
