Thursday we left Mono Lake and drove the Tioga Pass into Yosemite. We hiked near Olmsted Point and in the valley to the Ahwahnee for tea. On-line we found one of the last sites in Upper Pines and were lucky that the ranger moved us to a larger emergency site that we could fit into.
Oct20: Friday late afternoon we had to leave Yosemite since all was full. We treated ourselves to lunch in the Ahwahnee and strolled the valley.
We continued W on hwy140 to Vista Ranch and Cellars a Harvest Hosts location.
